An Introduction of Sorts
I suppose I should introduce myself. I am Gray Bradbury. I am, for lack of a better phrase, an unknown quantity. You’ll find me on Twitter with around 10 followers, Instagram with over 100 (albeit most are old friends from Highschool). In the era of followers and influencers, I am but a humble man standing in the shadows, watching events unfold that I have no ability to control. This fact has always haunted me, as I have always wanted to make a good impact on the World, and leave this place better than how I’ve found it. I study History, Film, Art, Politics, Economics, Culture, anything and everything to how us Human Beings get on in this insane home of ours.
What do I want this Substack to be exactly?
This will be my brain. The home of my writings. Expect essays, blogs, and the occasional piece of short fiction. For now I will leave everything free and I will always post one free piece of content per week. You can expect topics to vary greatly, as my interests are broad and diverse.
Why am I doing this?
I feel as though I am a person with a lot on their minds. I carry problems that aren’t my own to solve. Countless internet personalities give the advice to only worry about things inside one’s control, however, I find myself continually perplexed on great societal issues and I have a strong desire to share my thoughts and analysis. I also want to become a better writer, and I believe that iterative action is the way to do that.
